Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018-19 for Minority Students

Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018 for minorities is organized by Indian Government. This scheme invites for people from class first to 10th class of minority communities. The scheme will provide the financial help for candidates who are continuing their education.

Main Purpose of Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018:

This Pre-matric scholarship level will encourage the parents from minorities. Indian Government provides the help through scholarship scheme that no one can stop their education just because of financial problem. For lightening their future life Government need to provide this scheme for school education

Who can apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018?

  • Students who are studying class 1 to 10 are eligible
  • Students must score the 50% of marks in the previous exam
  • The annual income of the parents must not more than the Rs 1 lakh
  • The students should belong to minority community like Zoroastrians, Buddhists, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Janis and Parsis

Reserving for girl students:

30% of the scholarship will reserve for girl students. The mentioned number of girl students are not available then remaining scholarship may award for boy students who are eligible

Scholarship rate:

  • Admission fee from class VI to X: Rs 500 per Annum for both Hostelers and day scholar
  • Tuition Fee for class VI to X: Rs 350 per annum for both Hostelers and day scholar
  • Maintenance allowance wills payable for a period not exceeding more than 10 months
  • For class I to V: Nil for Hostelers and Rs 100 per month for day scholar
  • For Class VI to X: Rs 600 per month Hostelers and Rs 100 per month for day scholar

Here is the list of required documents for the pre-matric scholarship scheme

  • Recent Student photo
  • Institution verification form
  • Self-declaration of community certificate by the parents/legal guardian
  • Educational certificate of previous Qualifying Exam/Board
  • Fee receipt
  • Proof of bank account
  • Income certificate of student family issued by the competent authority in state government
  • Aadhar card
  • Residential certificate

How To Apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018-19 Through Online:

  • Applicants visit the scholarship official website
  • If you are the new user then you need to register yourself by click on New User button
  • Now click on the continue button
  • Then fill all the necessary details and click on submit button
  • After that login with your registered ID
  • An OTP will be sent to the mobile number that you registered
  • Enter OTP number and confirm
  • Then fill the application form
  • And submit button then take the printout of form for further use

Selection mode for Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2018:

  • Applicants will discontinue or fail in any subject then they are not eligible for the scholarship
  • Students need to maintain regular attendance in school
  • Migration of student from one school or institute to another would normally during the course of academic year
  • If a student found to have obtained any false statement about scholarship then the scholarship will be canceled
  • The scholarship will not be given more than 2 students in one family
  • The state Government will lay down a detailed procedure and sanction of scholarship to students who are eligible
  • Tuition fee will be credited to school or institute bank account
  • The fund distribution of scholarship in the subsequent year will release after receiving the utilization certificate for a previous year
  • Maintenance allowances will credit to student bank account
  • The regulations can change any time at the discretion of Indian Government
  • The state will place all relevant details of financial and achievements on their official website

The school or institute will certify the claim of a student for being an outstation/hostel or institute concerned
